New Beginnings

The last two years have brought with it a tremendous amount of change for me and my family. We welcomed both of our daughters into the world, Rosemary Ann in March 2021 and Emilia Jane in June 2022. We moved from Washington, D.C. back to my hometown-area of Baltimore, MD. My husband began a new career as a lawyer at a private firm. I started shifting my focus to a second business. All of these changes have come with a re-examination of my work as an entrepreneur and Catholic woman in business. 

Since I founded Ringlet in January 2017, my vision has been to create a space for woman to reach their fullest potential as creatives and business professionals. In our first 5 years of business, the Ringlet team has grown from a one-woman show to a full-service marketing agency with eight team members. We have provided marketing services to hundreds of women business owners around the country, hosted virtual and in-person events, survived a pandemic, launched business coaching, participated in Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, and created accessible online business educational resources. 

In Q4 2022, Ringlet is entering into its next stage of growth. I am beyond proud and delighted to announce the appointment of Claire Conway as the CEO of Ringlet. Over the last four years at Ringlet as Operations Manager, Director and most recently COO and Co-Owner of Ringlet, Claire has continued to provide tremendous value to the Ringlet team, clients and community. She possesses an unparalleled ability to approach business operations and marketing with strategic precision and innovation. 

One thing has been extremely clear throughout Claire’s and my business partnership: that we both believe in the limitless potential of women. Ringlet will be continuing to expand its vision of creating truly equitable workspaces for women by working with innovative professional service companies in long-standing industries. I will be taking on the role of President of Ringlet as I continue to guide the long-term development and advancement of Ringlet’s mission. As we make this shift, I have all the confidence in the world that Claire’s heart, grit, and dedication will lead to the continued success of our company.
